Early Intervention Services
A to Z Child Development provides comprehensive Early Intervention services for eligible infants and toddlers throughout New York City.
Our services include evaluations, Service Coordination, therapy and developmental support across a broad range of disciplines.

Service Coordination
Helping families navigate the Early Intervention Program, coordinate services, and understand the support and resources available for the child and family.
Occupational Therapy
Supporting fine motor development, sensory needs, self-care skills, play and participation in everyday activities.
Physical Therapy
Supporting movement, mobility, strength, balance, coordination and gross motor development.
Speech & Language Therapy
Supporting communication, understanding and use of language, and speech development.
Feeding Therapy
Supporting feeding skills, oral-motor development and participation in everyday mealtime routines.
Special Instruction
Individualized developmental support focused on learning, play, communication and participation in everyday activities.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
Individualized behavioral and developmental support provided in accordance with the child’s Early Intervention plan.
Nutrition Services
Nutrition assessment, education and guidance to support a child’s nutritional needs, growth and development.
Social Work
Supporting families through counseling, education, resources and assistance navigating social and developmental needs.
How services are determined
Early Intervention services are identified through the evaluation and Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) process and must be authorized by the municipality. We provide services in accordance with each child’s authorized plan.
We can also help families begin the referral process. Submitting our referral form or contacting the agency does not by itself establish eligibility or authorize services.
